YAB Lim Guan Eng
Last Friday on my way to KL for my LTP class, I met Penang Chief Minister, Yang Amat Berhormat Lim Guan Eng on board Airasia.
It was a big shock to me as I thought he only took MAS on economy class.
It’s great to know that a super VIP like him chose to fly on the “lowly” budget airline instead of Business Class on MAS. Saving people’s money was his main reason for not choosing to fly business class. This is a stark contrast to many other ministers who feels that they are entitled to spend the people’s money to make their life or work more “comfortable”.
We had a short chat and he was very pleasant to talk to. As Chief Minister, he doesn’t put on airs talking to an ordinary person like me. Humility is a virtue that our other ministers sorely lack.
Its assuring to be reminded that Penangites did choose the right person to head the state.

u are very lucky to meet him man, i wish to meet him one day to tell him how can i help to promote Penang, im not a polictician and i dont like politic, i came back to my hometown Penang last year after been away for more than 12 years, and i saw how he WIN it…..is gonna be more tough for him in future, no support from federal, but no problems for him aslong as Penang people give him sometimes and dont push too hard on him…..the most important is Penang people give full support to our new goverment, then Penang will be the BEST sorry for my lousy english….hahahaha
Best regards,

Hi Kelvin
Thanks for your comments. Yeah his administration is being heavily criticised by the BN people in Penang, especially from UMNO.
Everybody can talk, especially politicians and we all know talk is cheap until they show the results. I hope the Chief Minister will just manage the state well to show results that they are better than BN, then the people will fully support them.

Yang berhormat I wish ti highlight a few articles whish is happening in Penang:
There are about a few hundred acres of padi land in Permatang Pauh area whish is not for developed, no proper Infrastructure provided, Tihis area is located between Bukit Mertajan and Penanti. The farmers her are active and their yield is compatible with the ministry of Agricultures requirement. What is most suprising is this areas are gazetted for development, for years poeple here are planting padi, why is it such a vast area like this is being negelected? What is Intergrated agriculture devolopment authority in seberang doing about this, the answer is that area in no mere padi area.I hope Yang berhormat will throw a visit to this area and have achat with the farmers the
